The Porsche showroom in Singapore underwent a stylish black-themed makeover for one night only, for a special presentation of the 911 and Boxster S Black Editions. The Black Edition models have been produced and distributed in globally
limited numbers – just 1,911 units of the 911 and 987 of the Boxster S –
and will be sure to appeal to sports car afficionados craving for that
extra bit of exclusivity and design in their choice of cars.
Introducing the limited edition automobiles, Mr Karsono Kwee, Executive Chairman of distributor Stuttgart Auto, said: “Black is a color that is universally associated with sophistication and power. The aesthetical enhancements of the Black Edition 911 and Boxster S add a touch of sophistication to both cars, and complement the leading power and performance capabilities the 911 and Boxster S are renowned for.”
“I am also proud to announce that Stuttgart Auto is holding the 1911th unit of the 911 Black Edition Series.’
Before the cars’ unveiling, over 200 smartly-suited guests pored over a
black and white photo-exhibit featuring shots by local photogs Alvin
Tang, Chuck Reyes and Lester Lai. The 24 photographs on display were also on sale that night, with proceeds going to Club Rainbow, an organisation that helps youth suffering from chronic, life-threatening illnesses – proving that within each Porsche model’s chic black exterior, a heart of gold resides.
