The low-key Tunisian-born couturier and shoe designer has launched his first Azzedine Alaia lifestyle corner in Hong Kong. Nestled within On Pedder at Joyce New World Tower Store, the store showcases the latest Alaia collections of shoes, handbags and accessories, as well as an archive collection of must-haves and cult items from the previous four seasons. Featuring an LED screen and a lounge space, the Alaia corner is purposefully designed as a private showroom.

While the brand has remain relatively low-key when compared with the flamboyant marketing campaigns of other fashion luxury brands, Azzedine Alaia is certainly not humble in his body-hugging creations, thus earning himself the moniker ‘King of Cling’. Alaia’s creations have graced the bodies of some of the most iconic models and actresses of our time, including, Madonna, Naomi Campbell and Stephanie Seymour.
