Vera Wang has tapped Michelle Kessler Sanders for their newly established position of Creative Director. Having worked on both the editorial and retail sides of the business, it came as no surprise that Wang had been ‘poaching Sanders for years’.

‘Finally our business is big enough for her to do it,’ Vera Wang Group president Mario Grauso said. ‘It’s her combined background of ‘high and low’ that makes her well-suited for the wide-reaching brand.’

Over the course of her 22-year career, the much sought-after Saunders has moved fluidly among several renowned international brands. She held senior positions at Juicy Couture and Donna Karan before finally ending up at T last summer.
