The legendary de Grisogono bash at the renowned Hotel du
Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes, was a highlight of the Cannes Film Festival for
one high-octane reason: a blinged out, brand-new Maybach 62S Saloon.

The German luxury car maker Maybach, in collaboration with Swiss
fine jeweler de Grisogono, unveiled a 62S Saloon encrusted with diamonds  to an elite gathering of around 1,000 guests
from the international jet set, film and music industry. Marking the launch of
a joint Maybach individualization project with de Grisogono, the Saloon on
exhibit is festooned with diamonds on the rear center armrest for now. The two
luxury manufacturers, however, plan to include more studding options on the
steering wheel, shift lever and seats over the coming months. The final,
glittering creation will be officially presented at the Dubai International
Motor Show between November 10 and 14 this year—so be prepared to bring along a
pair of shades to shield your eyes from the blinding spectacle.
