What: TBF headed uptown NYC to get a sneak peak at the Fall collections from the Brown Shoe Women Footwear Brand. Basically, we went to shoe heaven.

What They Say: Brown Shoe women’s brand unveils their Fall/Winter 2011 collection for Franco Sarto, Fergalicious by Fergie, Carlos Santana, Naturalizer, Dr. Scholls, Etienne Aigner and Naya.

What We Say: We were like kids in a candy store at our visit to the Brown Shoe Footwear Company as it was an office filled with two stories of mini shoe stores. Since there were just so many brands to look at, we had to prioritize and decided to checkout the ones that were easy on the wallet but packed a lot of style.

Our favorite collections were from Fergie’s, rightly titled, Fergalicious. The collection spawned animal print lace-up booties, sexy strappy sandals, and fur lined knee boots tough enough to battle the snow and cute enough to make your winter outfits standout. We also loved Carlos Santana’s spicy yet chic collection of jeweled encrusted peep toes. After drooling over Carlos and Fergie’s kicks, we headed down to checkout Franco Sarto’s collection and to our surprise Mr. Sarto was actually in the store. As usual, his shoes were filled with sophisticated mid-heel pumps, bows and snakeskin print flats.

And because we at TBF understand that all of our readers aren’t into heels and these crazy quirky trends, we checked out Naturalizer , Etienne Aigner, and Naya for those of you who like soft cushy soles and heels under two inches. Surprisingly, Naturalizer incorporated a few trends in their collection as well. They offered shearling style boots, lace-up men’s style pumps, and of course their ever-comfortable flats. As for Naya–Brown Shoe’s newest shoe line for those seeking comfy eco-friendly shoes–we saw a woodsy chic vibe with everything from Mary Jane’s to clogs.
